Hey! If your reading this chances are this is your first time at the Lighthouse I just wanted to take the time to let you guys know the reason I created this website.
First of all, we want this website to honor God in all aspects. If you think we have gone against that vision feel free to let us know. We want everything on this site to point to God and his faithfulness, grace, mercy, love, holiness, righteousness, judgment, transcendence, etc...
Secondly, we want to build up my fellow Christians. I, personally, may not be the best mentor or teacher out there, but I hope and pray that God can use me for things greater than myself. I am not perfect and definitely don't know everything. But I want to be there for those I can help. However few those may be. Whether it is 1 or 1 million, I am here.
And lastly, you may be here for some weird reason. You may not even know why your here. Your not a christian, you've never even been that religious. But I want to tell you that there is a God and he is my purpose for living. Without him my life would be even more messed up than it is now. He has given me hope in a hopeless world. He sent his son Jesus Christ from Heaven to die on a cross to save us from our sins(things we do wrong). It does not cost anything to accept this priceless gift he has given us. All he asks in return is that we choose to honor him with our lives, which is a gift in itself. I don't always get that part either, but it's the truth. I am 100 times happier serving God than serving myself. If you are still thinking this is mumbo-jumbo then there is nothing else I can do for you. However, if even one tiny dark corner of your soul is curious about what I've said. Then do not hesitate to send us an e-mail please. We will answer your questions as best we can. We will not pressure you into anything. We just want to share the joy and the renewed life we have been given.
